EMOBILE Selects InnoPath’s Integrated Mobile Device Management Solution
Further validates strategic role of Integrated
MDM in advanced wireless networks
SUNNYVALE, CA - March 23,
2007 - InnoPath
Software, Inc., the industry leader in Integrated
Mobile Device Management (iMDM), has announced
that EMOBILE Ltd. has selected InnoPath’s
Integrated Mobile Device Management Solution
(iMDM) to deliver over-the-air firmware updates
and configuration management on their network.
This initial deployment will set the stage for
future enhancements that may include diagnostics,
security applications and software management.
InnoPath’s iMDM Carrier Suite is a single,
integrated platform managing the complete lifecycle
of a handset. EMOBILE will be deploying InnoPath’s Firmware
Manager allowing for software and firmware
updates, in addition to offering its Configuration
Manager enabling remote configuration of
settings and new services; both applications
being offered over-the-air, in real time. With
InnoPath’s iMDM Carrier Suite, operators
such as EMOBILE are able to reduce operating
expenses, grow the top line, and ultimately enhance
customer satisfaction spanning the entire product
lifecycle. As pointed out by analyst firm Visiongain,
an integrated solution offers operators the flexibility
to enhance their ability to deploy and support
advanced handset applications and services.
“InnoPath’s solution provides us
with the platform we require to effectively manage
the growing complexity of software applications
and mobile data services delivered to subscribers’ handsets,” said
President and COO, Haruo Taneno of EMOBILE.
InnoPath’s iMDM Suite is an application
platform, with an inherently modular, scalable
and flexible architecture. This flexibility,
along with the ease of back-end integration,
is even more critical as network operators call
upon their MDM platform to provide services for
both consumers and businesses. Combining a server
and client solution, InnoPath’s iMDM Suite
permits operators to transition MDM from an exception-based
model to a service intrinsic to their daily operations.
InnoPath is the clear leader in mobile device
management in Japan, securing a 90% share in
the world’s most advanced market in mobile
data services.
“EMOBILE’s decision to deploy a
true Integrated MDM solution is evidence of the
strategic role they see for MDM going forward”,
said John Fazio, CEO of InnoPath. “Their
selection of InnoPath’s extensible solution
paves the way for them to quickly add additional
features as the market evolves.”
InnoPath will be demonstrating its iMDM server
and device solutions at the CTIA Wireless 2007
on March 27-29 th in Orlando, Florida, USA.
